Since Android Lollipop, Google moved to a new virtual machine called ART which uses AOT (ahead-of-time) compilation. dex2oat offers a number of compiler filter options that one can control, so this Android Runtime Optimization Magisk Module from XDA Senior Member  was made to (theoretically) increase the first boot application speed on Android 5.0+ devices by modifying some of these compiler filter options.
