Honor is getting close to announcing their next smartphone series. We know the Honor 20 and Honor 20 Pro will be officially unveiled at an event in London on May 21st, though there hasn’t been much other information. New images give us our first real look at the device from the front and back, revealing and confirming a few key details.
The Honor 20 Pro is taking design cues from the Honor View20 with a small hole punch in the top left corner of the display. Honor is cleverly using a parrot wallpaper in one of the photos to disguise the hole punch, a la the popular Galaxy S10 wallpapers. We can also see the very small bezels on the top and sides along with a slightly thicker bottom chin. From the front, the Honor 20 looks almost identical to the View20.
The images of the front of the phone also reveal a few possible pre-installed apps of note. We can clearly see the Fortnite Installer in one of the images and Amazon Alexa in the other. Honor already has a partnership with Epic Games as they offered an exclusive skin with the View20. Similarly, Huawei has pre-installed Amazon Alexa on devices like the Huawei Mate 9. So it would be no surprise to see both of these apps pre-installed.
We know the Honor 20 Pro will have triple rear cameras as shown in various leaks. It will also be available in three colors: black, white, and blue. Not much is known about the specific specs of the device. There appears to be some significance to the number 4 with this device as seen on the event invitation. That could mean anything from the number of devices in the Honor 20 series to the number of cameras. We should know more very soon.
