The Samsung Galaxy A8 Star was released in India a couple of months ago. The A series is in the upper mid-range realm with decent specs for an affordable price. The Galaxy A8 Star featured dual cameras on the back, but the Samsung Galaxy A9 Star may literally double that number.
According to a leaked image from @evleaks, the Galaxy A9 Star has 4 cameras in an odd-looking vertical layout on the back. The image looks more like a joke that someone has Photoshopped, but it appears to be a real device. We can even see the purpose of all 4 cameras.
- 120-degree ultra wide camera, 8MP f/2.4
- 2X optical telephoto camera, 10MP f/2.4
- Main camera, 24MP f/1.7
- Depth camera, 5MP f/2.2
That’s the definition of the “kitchen sink” approach. Wide angle, telephoto, depth, and a standard shooter. That should cover just about any situation you would run into. We don’t know anything else about the Galaxy A9 Star at this time. The A8 Star featured a Snapdragon 660, 6GB of RAM, dual 16_24MP cameras, 3,700 mAh battery, and 64GB of storage.
