The Motorola One line looks to be expanding again. The first Motorola One devices launched nearly a year ago with the One and One Power. Last month, the Motorola One Vision launched and it featured the company’s first punch hole display. The next device looks to be the Motorola One Action.
The “One” moniker relates to all these devices running Android One. The Motorola One Action looks to carry this on along with the punch hole display from the One Vision. The leaked renders of the One Action look a lot like the One Vision. The bezels are similar in size and it appears to have a fingerprint scanner on the back. However, this phone has triple rear cameras instead of two.
The handy thing about these renders is they actually describe one of the cameras right on the device. Alongside the camera module, there is text that reads “117° Action Cam 2.0µm.” So that will likely be a big part of the marketing since this is being called the Motorola One Action.
The One Vision featured a 48MP camera with 5MP depth sensor. We could see the same thing on the One Action for the other two cameras, but we don’t know for sure. Some of the other things we can see in the renders is USB-C for charging, a single speaker grill on the bottom, and the Android One logo.
Rumored specs for the One Action include a 6.3-inch display with 2,520×1,080 resolution, Exynos 9609 processor, 3/4GB of RAM, 32/64/128G of storage, 3,500mAh, and a 12.6MP front camera. Despite the extra camera, this is supposed to be a lower end option than the One Vision. An estimated release window is still up in the air.
