Xiaomi is one of the largest phone manufacturers in the world. Their phones are popular mostly in China and other Asian countries, like India. But, the company has been trying to bring their devices to Europe for quite some time now. Back in November of 2017, they expanded to Spain and announced the plans to expand in France and Italy in May. Then there was the Three partnership and UK and plans about opening a store. The time has finally come for the UK to get a taste of some Xiaomi.
The Chinese manufacturer just announced that their first store in the UK will open in merely two weeks, on November 10. They have plans to sell their flagship devices and smart home devices, but we may also see other products like scooters, power banks, and other accessories. The first flagship in the UK will most likely be the recently announced Xiaomi Mi Mix 3, which features full-screen display and a camera mechanism. The physical store will live at White City’s Westfield shopping center.
It’s good to see that Europe will start seeing more variety in phone manufacturers. Xiaomi devices always offer high-quality build and the latest specs with an affordable price. The UK launch will benefit both the manufacturer and the users alike. I know many people from London who previously were forced to order the Xiaomi devices from websites like GearBest. The official Mi Store means that they have more access to all kinds of products from Xiaomi. Meanwhile, Xiaomi’s market share will increase even more. They save over 1,000% increase in Q1 of 2018, very impressive metric by all means.
