Thank you for taking interest in this addon. This addon is a port of the famous WorldEdit mod for Minecraft: Java Edition. It offers many commands and items to make building and editing your world easier and more fun!
How do I use it?
By default, no one is allowed to use the addon’s functions. You need to be a builder first. To make yourself a builder, type “/tag @s add builder” in chat. You will now be able to use commands like “;help” and grab a wooden axe to initiate your button items.
What can I do?
- You can make selections to manipulate parts of your world.
- Copy, cut and paste these selections.
- Fill in your selections with a variety of blocks.
- Move around better with a navigation wand.
- Undo or redo your actions.
This addon comes with documentation in the How to Play section in settings, so go check it out for more details.
What can’t I do?
As this is in its beta stage, not a lot of features are available yet compared to the original mod. That will change in the future, but for now here are the features that are planned to be implemented.
- Rotating and flipping selections
- Masking operations
- Brushes and more tools
- Different selection shapes
- Remove selection size limit (yeah, it’s currently limited to 64x256x64)
- And more!
The backbone of the scripts is notbeer’s [Gametest API Wrapper.hGametest .
Thanks to the original creator of the WorldEdit mod “sk89q” and EngineHub as a whole. They developed and excellent mod, and I’m just simply making a version of it work on bedrock. They’re the real heroes. 🙂
To add this addon to your world, first download the .mcaddon file, then open it with Minecraft. Once it is imported, create/edit your world and add both the behaviour pack and the resource pack. You must add the resource pack manually or the addon won’t function properly. Lastly you must enable the following experimental features:
