Alongside the OnePlus Nord, OnePlus also announced its first truly wireless earbuds — the OnePlus Buds. Unlike the Nord, the Buds will be making their way to the United States as well.

The OnePlus Buds have a stem-like design similar to the AirPods. Each earbud features a 13.4mm dynamic driver and supports Bass Boost along with Dolby Atmos. There are 3 microphones in each bud as well to deliver crystal clear calling experience. The earbuds have a touchpad as well that can be used to control media playback, launch Google Assistant, and more. They are also IPX4 certified meaning you can wear them while working out. The earbuds miss out on Active Noise Cancellation (ANC), but they do have environmental noise cancellation.

OnePlus claims about 7 hours of battery life, with each earbud packing a 35mAh battery. With the bundled carrying case which packs a 430mAh battery, the total battery life can be extended to up to 30 hours. The carrying case features a USB-C port that can be used to fast charge the buds. With just 10 minutes of charging, the OnePlus Buds can last for 10 hours.

To make pairing the Buds easier, OnePlus has added support for Google’s Fast Pair. There’s also a companion OnePlus Buds app that will show handy information about the earbuds including their battery life, the ability to customize the gestures, find your Buds if you lose them, and more. There’s a ‘Fnatic mode’ as well that aims to reduce the latency and is aimed primarily for gaming.

The OnePlus Buds will be available for $79 in the United States, Rs 4,9900 in India, and for €89 in Europe. There was no word from OnePlus about the availability of the Buds though. The earbuds will be available in three colors: black, white, and blue.
