Quick Guide: Installing Bedrock Addons (.mcaddon, .mcpack, .mcworld)
Installing addons in Minecraft Bedrock is designed to be simple. Follow these steps:
- Download the File: Get the
.mcaddon,.mcpack, or.mcworldfile. - Open the File: On most platforms, simply double-clicking or tapping the file will prompt Minecraft to open and ‘Import’ the content.
- Activate in World Settings: Once imported, create a new world or edit an existing one. Navigate to Resource Packs and Behavior Packs to activate the addon.
- Restart the Game: If the assets don’t appear, a quick restart usually solves the cache issue.
